What is the fellowship initiative?
The Fellowship Initiative (TFI) is a free leadership program that offers several opportunities designed to prepare young men of color for life in college and beyond.
Recognizing the unique challenges they face, TFI staff goes beyond providing traditional academic support, offering a multifaceted program that prepares Fellows for every aspect of the college experience.
From navigating the admissions process to developing essential life skills, TFI guides Fellows step-by-step, easing anxieties and providing them with the tools they need to succeed.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Fellows gain year round support from TFI staff, Vibrant Emotional Health and JP Morgan Chase volunteers with engagements focusing on academic rigor, testing strategies, professional development, financial literacy, career exploration, and college campus exposure. Through these sessions, fellows gain confidence in their ability to create their own solutions, follow through on their implementation and gain comfort in the university academic structure.
Our programming encourages young men to embrace their innate creativity through different learning avenues while they navigate this one-of-a-kind leadership program — and we’re there with them each step of the way ensuring they imagine and create their best lives!
