Virtual Courses Through Big Thought Institute
This free resource offers BTI Virtual Courses from June 1–December 1, 2025. Course offerings include Six Dimensions of Quality 101, Introduction to Growth Mindset, and SEL Signature Practices.
Signature Practices for Engaged and Inclusive Learning
Simple, flexible strategies designed to create engaging, inclusive learning environments where every young person feels seen, heard, and supported. Big Thought’s Signature Practices include Warm Welcomes to build community, Engaging Strategies to maintain energy and focus, and Optimistic Closings to help learners reflect and leave on a positive note.

Data Support Through ELIS
ELIS (Expanded Learning Information System) was developed through a partnership between Big Thought, Dallas Afterschool, and SMU CORE to provide student- and program-level data to support partner programs. We’ve recently simplified our approach to better meet partners’ needs and provide data in more effective, user-friendly ways. Offered by Tomorrow’s Leaders Today, this free program (June 24-26) empowers young women in 5th-12th grade to build leadership skills, explore career and college pathways, and take action through a community impact project.
