10 Changemakers Making a Difference in Their Communities

This summer, we’re lifting up the people who make change happen. Through stories of people our community nominates, we’re celebrating the everyday leaders who shape our city and support our youth.

Pakco F.

Pakco is a musician, creative agency founder, and mentor who brings real-world experience and steady guidance to justice-involved youth. He’s known for showing up, sharing his talent, and helping young artists find their voice.

Dylan M. Rafaty

Dylan is the President & CEO of the North Texas Disability Chamber and founder of DylanListed. He’s creating more inclusive communities by leading with empathy, advocating for accessibility, and mentoring the next generation.

Bianca Green

Bianca brings passion and belief in youth voices to her work as a teaching artist. She inspires creativity and authentic leadership, keeping the team focused on what matters most.

Michael Coleman II

Michael Coleman II is the Co-Founder & CEO of Crowned Scholars, where he’s creating a culture of belonging for young Black men through STEAM education and mentoring. His leadership inspires others to pour into the mission with the same heart and conviction he brings every day.

Angelica Barrera

Angelica is a champion for youth-led ideas and action. Whether it’s publishing or game design, she helps young people take the lead—and makes sure their voices carry into the spaces where decisions are made.

Viktor Ortiz

Viktor is the founder of Mi Barrio 214, a creative hub in Pleasant Grove where culture, art, and community care come together. He brings a justice and equity mindset to his art instruction with youth.

Sara Doutt

Sara is redefining networking. As Founder & CEO of Myngly, she uses AI and geolocation to turn everyday interactions into authentic, meaningful connections, helping professionals, entrepreneurs, and changemakers meet the people they’re meant to.

KJ Hudson

KJ uses his voice to spark change in his community. From poetry and songwriting to civic advocacy, he fully immerses himself and takes ownership of every space. He leads with passion, asks thoughtful questions, and makes others feel welcome, inspiring those around him to get involved.

Vincent Coronado

Vincent leads Creative Solutions, a program where youth who have encountered the justice system embrace their creativity and learn artistic and workforce skills. He connects young people with artists and resources, helping them use their voice and explore new paths.

Ania Hodges

Ania leads opportunities for youth to be heard. She creates environments where young people are comfortable to be transparent. Then, she helps turn their perspectives into insights to change the systems shaping their lives.

If you know someone making a positive impact in the community, we want to help share their story. Visit staging.bigthought.org/changemakers to nominate someone to be featured, and if you’re able, donate to help us reach our summer goal.
